Jolt Fibreglass Rods - Best Value by a Country Mile!
Jolt Fencing customer, Todd Haines, is a researcher! He scoured the country for the best value fibreglass rods and his homework led him to Jolt, and he’s never looked back.
Wattle Downs in Whangamarino, North Waikato, is a 350 hectare beef finishing operation. Todd Haines is using cell grazing across his land, and uses about 7,000 rods to support his cause. Not only is he using the sticks for temporary winter fencing, but also for permanent fencing too. One of the biggest challenges to managing his farm is keeping costs in check.
When considering fencing products for intensive bull finishing, Todd weighed up cost as a critical factor, but also acknowledged that quality had to stack up too. He couldn’t find a more competitive price than Jolt and in his words…
“We have managed to complete a massive amount of fencing and have dramatically increased our ability to carry more stock through winter. We are way more productive! The bulk buy discount is great and products arrive very quickly.”
Aside from the cost being favourable, he is also appreciating how cell grazing has seen bull weight gain across the herd, and the grass has a chance to recover (and grow more efficiently too). He finds the rods very durable and easy to use.
Todd recently purchased a pallet of rods (quantity of 5,000) which nearly halved his per rod price, bringing it to approx. $1.10 per rod versus buying the minimum bundle of 50 for $2.10 per rod. And because he is not located close enough to shop in store, he found buying in bulk an excellent way to save on freight too. So we encourage farmers to get together with mates and neighbours to share the freight charges and make compelling product savings when buying in bulk.
We appreciate Todd’s loyalty to Jolt, he has told several of his farming comrades about his experience of using the brand, including those who are now using the rods for subdivision fencing. We see the orders trickle through and we can’t thank him enough for his referrals.
Todd, we look forward to supporting your farming endeavours well into the future!
